How can you use human psychology principles to create more intuitive and engaging experiences for desktop, mobile and beyond? There’s a reason why some interfaces make total sense to you – and others don’t. Good design is based on a deep understanding of how we humans think and operate. I will summarise the core psychology principles that underpin great design, things that not only make a product or service usable, but a good experience. These include perception and Gestalt principles, emotional design, decision making and how to design for memory, user attention and focus. The principles will be brought to life with examples of sites, apps and services especially from the travel sector.
