Assessing your UX maturity

A 60 minute Case Study by:

Jay Brewer

Vice President Experience Design, Rapid7

About this Case Study

User experience encompasses all aspects of the end-user's interaction with a company, its services and its products. Larger investments in UX design are becoming norms in every sector and every sized company. How do you measure UX capabilities in your organisation?

This session will deep dive into UX maturity levels, help you identify where your organisation stands on a UX maturity scale and how can you improve its overall UX maturity.

We start off with a high level view of UX and then you'll use a worksheet to assess your current UX maturity on a scale of 0-5. We'll then look at a UX maturity model and I'll explain the next steps and what's needed to get more mature.

At the end of the session, I'll go over how to promote UX - and you'll also get the chance to give yourself a final score once you've been through the entire session.
